Pinhole Day 2018 in Norwich / by Jana Uyeda

I had the opportunity to celebrate Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day in the fine city of Norwich, Norfolk which is about 2 1/2 hours northeast of London. The event was coordinated by the great Alex Yates who picked us (the Americans) up in a giant van and gave a tour of his beloved city. He also organized The Pinhole World show at Frank's Bar to celebrate the annual event.

For this event I packed my ONDU 66 and Fujifilm Neopan Acros 100. Here are my WPPD images but you can also view more at my Instagram where I share images on a daily basis.

On our first day in Norwich Alex took us on a trip to the coast where we accessed the North Sea at Salthouse.

From there we ventured towards lunch with a quick stop at St. Margaret's Church in Cley next the Sea, a gorgeously crumbling 14th century church.

After a delicious lunch and a lot of tea we visited Baconsthorpe Castle.

The weather in Norwich was a bit terrible as it was rainy, cold and wet but we found many opportunities for tea and shelter as we toured the area.

I hope you enjoyed this first post and I'll have more images from WPPD soon!
