Have you ever walked through a forest in the snow? It's one of my favorite things about winter. There's an incredible, deep silence as my feet crunch through the ice making my way along the path. There are no birds chirping, the water is frozen, the winds are silent and most families are bundled indoors. I am not a skier or snowboarder but when the roads are safe I like to head out and walk through the woods with my camera. Here are a few shots from my Nikon F3HP taken this past winter at Lake Easton.
