I took this picture on the fourth floor of the Seattle Public Library, the blood red floor, and wanted to play with the geometry of the grids and the reflection on the floor. Two of my photos were underexposed but I like the look of this picture:
This is a scan of the full 4x5 sheet. The light and the ghostly figure turned out great, but I'm worried that the strong lines on the right distract from the image. On the other hand, I kind of like that the light and the ghostly figure form a triangular shape. I tried cropping the image, which was difficult with the position of the lines, and the result is here:
I'm still not sure if it's a strong image. What do you think?
